Every Service, One Page Each

This is the whole catalog, 147 services across thirteen categories, and every one of them has its own page that explains the work to the point. No packages with mystery contents, no fine print. Find your problem below, or skip the reading and call (512) 925-3090. A real person answers, 24 hours a day.

The Off Duty Catalog

If It Moves Heat, It Is on This List

Most HVAC websites give you five vague buckets and a contact form. We went the other way. Every service we actually perform got its own page, because a homeowner with a frozen evaporator coil at midnight does not want to read about “comprehensive cooling solutions.” They want to know what a frozen coil means, what causes it, what it takes to fix, and whether the guy coming out has done it a hundred times. He has.

The catalog runs from everyday work, AC repair, tune-ups, thermostat swaps, to the specialty end: geothermal heat pumps, Manual J load calculations, building automation, walk-in cooler repair. Residential and commercial both. The one thing you will not find is furnace pages, because our heating work centers on heat pumps, boilers, and radiant systems. If you are not sure where your problem fits, that is what the phone is for.

A word on why the list is this long. Central Texas runs equipment hard in both directions. The same house that needs its condenser babied through a hundred-degree August needs its heat pump defrosting right when an ice storm rolls down Highway 281 in January. Add lake humidity working on coils year round, hard water scaling up drain pans, and live oak pollen packing filters every spring, and you get a climate that touches every system a house owns. A shop that only does “AC repair” is not equipped for that. A shop that has a page, a process, and the parts for each of these 147 jobs is.

Every job runs the same four-step process you can read about on our about page: you call, we diagnose, we explain it straight, we fix and verify. And every page you click below is backed by the same guarantee, real work, photographed on real job sites around the Highland Lakes.

Heating

Heat pumps, boilers, radiant floors, and the blower that moves it all. When the heat quits ahead of a cold front, call from this list.

Heat Pumps

One system that heats and cools, built for Texas weather. We install and service the new generation: variable speed, cold climate, dual fuel.

Ductwork

The half of the system nobody looks at. Design, sealing, insulation, and repair for the ducts that make or break your airflow.

Maintenance

The cheap visit that prevents the expensive one. Tune-ups, inspections, and service agreements that keep you off the emergency list.

Emergency

After hours is our regular hours. A real person answers around the clock, and the truck comes stocked to fix it the same visit.

Thermostats

Small box, big consequences. Repair, replacement, and smart upgrades, calibrated so the house actually does what the screen says.

Commercial Refrigeration

Walk-ins, reach-ins, and ice machines. When the product in the box is on the line, we treat it like the emergency it is.

Not Sure What You Need?

Describe the Symptom, We Will Name the Service

You do not need to diagnose your own system before calling. Tell us what the house is doing, warm air from the vents, ice on the copper line, a breaker that keeps tripping, a weird rattle when the blower kicks on, and we will tell you what it probably is, what it might cost to look at, and how fast we can be there. That first conversation is free and it happens with a person who works on these systems, never a call-center script.

If it is after hours, call anyway. The name of this company is a joke about exactly this moment: your AC does not check the clock before it quits, so neither do we. The on-call tech answers around the clock, every day of the year, and emergency calls jump the schedule. You can also send the form on the contact page and we will ring you back to set a time that suits you.

And if the honest answer is that you do not need us yet, you will get that answer too. Some symptoms are a five-dollar filter, a tripped float switch, or a breaker that just needs resetting, and we will talk you through those over the phone for free rather than sell you a truck roll. That habit costs us a service call now and then. It also built the reputation this company runs on.

Catalog Questions

Before You Pick a Page

How do I know which service I actually need?

You do not have to know. The pages exist so you can read up if you want to, but the faster path is a two-minute phone call where you describe the symptom and we name the likely cause. Warm air with the fan running usually points at refrigerant or a compressor issue. Ice on the lines points at airflow or a low charge. Short cycling points at sizing, a dirty coil, or a failing part. Bryce has run these diagnostics for ten years, so the phone triage is usually close, and the on-site diagnosis confirms it with gauges instead of guesses.

Do you charge to come out and look?

Call and we will tell you exactly what the visit costs before a truck rolls, day or night. No teaser numbers on the website, no surprise math on the invoice. The diagnostic fee gets explained up front, and when we quote the repair you get the real price before any work starts. Every review this company has mentions fair pricing, and it stays that way because the price conversation happens out loud, first.

Do you handle both residential and commercial work?

Yes. Homes are the core of the business, and the commercial side covers rooftop units, package systems, restaurant kitchens, offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and commercial refrigeration including walk-in coolers and ice machines. Commercial customers get the same 24-hour phone line, plus preventative maintenance agreements that keep equipment off the emergency list. If your building moves heat, it is in our lane.

What brands do you work on?

All the major ones. We are a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor on the ductless side, which means factory training and the extended Diamond warranty on new mini-split installs. On central systems, heat pumps, and package units, we repair and service every mainstream brand you will find in Central Texas, and we are authorized for JB warranty work, so covered repairs get filed and fixed without you chasing the manufacturer. The brand on the equipment matters less than the quality of the install, which is exactly why we do not sell on logos.

How fast can you get to me?

Emergencies get same-day response around the clock, and a true no-cooling or no-heat call during a Texas heat wave or freeze goes to the front of the line, whether you are in Burnet, Marble Falls, or down the corridor in Georgetown. Routine work, tune-ups, installs, air quality projects, gets scheduled at a real window we actually keep. We run about 100 miles out from Burnet, so drive time depends on where you are, and we will give you an honest arrival window on the phone rather than a cheerful lie.

Why is there no furnace work on this list?

Because we would rather point your heating dollars at equipment we believe in for this climate. Central Texas winters are short and sharp, which is exactly the profile where heat pumps, dual fuel setups, boilers, and radiant systems shine. Our heating catalog covers repair, maintenance, and replacement for all of those. If you have an existing furnace limping along, call anyway and we will give you a straight read on your options, including the honest math on switching to a heat pump when the old unit finally quits.
